Boost Your Volume with the Best Chrome Extension

I won't take away many stars because of the requirements forced upon you by Google but damn, do they suck. Unfortunately this method breaks YouTube full screen, so it never goes full screen - you see the taskbar and everything. The only way to get full screen back is to press F11 and then press the full screen button , then it gives full screen. I confirmed it was this plugin simply by closing the new tab that opens, and now I can get YouTube full screen to work again (without using F11) This makes it a bit much to deal with for every video you watch. I also noticed sometimes the window disappears - usually when you open another one for a different tab if you are playing two videos at the same time. Once the window disappears I can't figure out how to get it to come back, so that window you can no longer control the volume without closing it , reopening it, and resetting the volume. Other than that, it does what it says on the tin :) Suggestion: Make the plugin work for Manifest V2 by default, and V3 if it is turned on, until Manifest V3 is more prevalent. This way the noobs stop complaining about the tab window. They say they have other extensions that work without it (A.K.A. they must be still on manifest V2, if they were on V3 they would not say this because it is not possible) Note to everyone: You have Google force-feeding us Manifest V3 to thank, the same thing that kills your ad blocker is also killing this extension.

Used them all malware bad sounds etc this is the best ive used to date, also seen some reports of high CPU usage so far ive havnt had any high CPU usage yet anyway.

Check your CPU usage when using this extension, as something fishy is going on. Today it appears as though it has a bug causing high CPU usage or it has been compromised and is being used to mine crypto.

Love this extension!!! Probably shouldn't be doing this but when I'm in class or a meeting that isnt important or anything, I'll lower the volume of that tab while keeping something more entertaining on another tab open. It allows me to be able to hear what's going on in the meeting without it taking over whatever I'm watching on another tab. Thanks for making it :).

It does what's on the box. Unrestricted volume percentage and a handful of commonly used percentage buttons. Nothing fancy with the display, and a new tab is opened for each tab you want to adjust, but there's no sound spikes or ambiguity with the design.
